So with all the many changes we've gone through, we have finally settled down and gotten to work on our first full length album. I have to say there is a lot in here that is very different from our first EP. It still has all of the elements that you love, however the writing is vastly improved. We've learned a few things along the way and we are pulling no punches with this CD. We've posted "Solar" which is one of our new songs on the music page along with our older stuff. If you listen to the some of the older stuff, in particular "These Days Are Numbered" , "Legends" or "Unbroken" be prepared for updated versions of versions of them on the CD. We wanted them to have the same continuity with the rest of the songs on the album so they've been restyled to fit.  

     To all of you, new and old fans of HLW... I want to remind everyone of the upcoming work we will be doing as we progress through the next few months. We have a lot in store for all our friends and fans as we are on the way to our first FULL length album. Make sure to keep in contact and check out the gigs section to see when the nearest shows are. We welcome you, yes YOU to come check us out live!

     I really think you guys will enjoy the new material we have for you. The first chance to hear the new music will be over the course of the next couple months while we play local shows.  Bring your friends and family along.  Just hang out and have a good time. Enjoy yourselves! 

   Other than that, we promise to keep working hard on the album, and strongly hope it will be finished sooner than later. Look forward to seeing you at our next stop!

...is apparently an inspirational food. Bill and I have just about finished one of the many new songs you guys will hear in the coming weeks/months (hopefully weeks).  Dan - Hope Lies Within

So here we are, I have to say I've been up and down with this band. Good times and bad times, with Hope Lies Within I've done it all. We are ready, ready to take on the world. I've changed just about every member of this band except Marco and it has been hard to say the least. I've made great friends in that process as well, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Mike Hines, he remains one of my best and closest friends today. Those of you who have supported us along the way, I love each and every one of you. There are not enough word to express my gratitude. We however will need you more than ever soon.  We are gearing up for our first full length album, we have prepared a huge promotional push. We have new photography and art work from artist Matthew Boisvert and a new video shot live at Camp Weber for "Through The Eyes of Trepidation" shot by returning videographer Califf Guzman. We have a lot planned and our goal is to make great music and have fun doing it. We will need you, fans, family and friends to help us pave the way.
